The updated GO14 LVgo 14 bag from Louis Vuitton is causing controversy on the internet with some LOVING the updated style and others questioning it's HUGE price tag and overall looks. After owning the GO14 bag MM size in color tan for a few months now, I share with you the price and size options, what fits inside, outfit styling inspiration, pros and cons, and my FINAL verdict - is this new LV bag REALLY worth the money?

The grey is stunning as is pink. I went with lagoon. It was unreal, special. The store where I live they all the bags for purchase. It was all on display. We bought it and my husband took it for xmas. The blue is really a blue/green.

When I look at this bag alone, it does not excite me....but it looks so good on you! I know you will love using this bag and hope you enjoy it for a long time! I love your channel Steph and the in depth look you provide for those who do not have a fashion house nearby. You did an exceptional job with this video showing what it actually can and cannot hold! In my opinion, LV did a beautiful job but it’s still not for me. I like others prefer a smaller bag. The market has gone crazy getting us adjusted to the mini bags, making our slg’s smaller and smaller. I no longer use a big wallet and have parted with almost all of them. That said, I still need a bag to fit my essentials which are 6 things literally as well as it needs to carry with ease and allow me to get to those 6 items. In my opinion. The Capucines did not do this as well unless it were to be a medium size. I purchased and sold it. Recently after lusting over your Lock It Forever in Greige for so long I finally found one. It too at 7.5” wide held nothing. I was so disappointed and returned it. Patiently I kept looking and low and behold I found it! The LV Rose does Vents from 2019. I don’t even remember hearing about it. It is gorgeous, functional and comfortably lightweight. I said no more black bags but this one will be on my arm for a while. I have no idea why it did not make it big, maybe not enough logos, but it’s stunning! I am an LV lover but not the Capucines, Twist or this bag for me. But I am very happy you acquired it and it brings you warm thoughts!

I’m just the-watching this video (perhaps for the 3rd time) lol - I just love your review … you cover so much! I just wanted to remind you that you can thread the chain through the loops and attach the handle to each end of the chain so you have a leather shoulder strap like the Lockme Ever mini. In the boutique I was pretty concerned about the weight of the chain on my shoulder when the bag was filled, but this makes the bag much more comfortable and also gives you more length if you’re wearing it crossbody with a heavy coat etc. It’s this extreme versatility of this bag that got me! I love that it’s delicate and edgy at the same time - I think it is a great edition to the Louis Vuitton line and personal collection! Also, I find it fascinating how completely different the coloring can look in even slightly different light. The ombré shading can also be either stand out or be hardly noticeable on the same purse.

It is gorgeous! And obviously an emotional purchase, which is why we all buy luxury, isn't it? I'm curious about its similarity to the padded BV Cassette. I loved that bag on screen, but when I tried it IRL I discovered that the padding added volume and a luxurious feel, but also weight, and reduced the capacity. It struck me (the Cassette) as a brink that holds a card holder. As a result, I passed & bought the regular Cassette. I've since noticed an awful lot on the preloved market, and now in Outlet malls. Clearly the Go14 is superior craftsmanship, but it seems to have similar features as the padded Cassette. Thoughts?

Cathy, when I too looked at it, my immediate reaction was hoe little it held due to the puffy quilting. For a medium bag I couldn’t justify it. For the price, as much as I love LV, I’d absolutely have to purchase Chanel. The quilting adds so much unnecessary weight in my opinion. If you carry a bag for looks only, it’s beautiful yes, but I truly need it to carry my essentials. It was a no for me. I love this brown color but really would probably go for the white and black. I did love the versatility of the strap. It shows me LV is listening.

The cost of the bag in the MM is prohibitive; the interior is relatively small and the life I lead would not allow me to wear the bag in public. I own many LV bags, including all leather and they are more suitable, size and space wise for my fashion sense and lifestyle.
