Don’t forget to stop pulling the trigger when you’re hitting the hand brake. Arrma says it’s bad for the diffs if I remember correctly. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

What they dont tell ya is that e-brake will come at the cost of blown diffs! My day was spent on a timber x maiden, 3300mah 4s the thing practically flies itself, absolutely love it!

Knowing arrma it probably is a well thought out addition, im just thinking in terms of heat,diff fluids, etc. I know my 1/7 explorer on blx185 6s as efficient as i have it running still generates alot of heat in the drivetrain. To add to it i dont really see the point in this aside from remote burnouts (which is cool), imo it would cause more undue stress on other components for some cool burnouts and thats bout it.

Definitely cool, this feature has been available for years now on crawlers just called a "dig". this is the first high-speed street RC to have a "dig unit/handbrake".

The manual warns you not to use the handbrake with any throttle input. You'll ruin the center diff completely. Supposed to do it like this: throttle, let go of throttle, hit handbrake, let go handbrake, lay on more throttle. Maybe I'm a party pooper, but i don't see the risk eward value with a handbrake. The Felony \Infraction drifts plenty without it.

putting stress on the drivetrain, gears, motor, esc, and wheels are considered bashing coz you push the RC to its limits and may cause some breakage. It's a different form of bashing tho, called street bash. The bashing we are used to are the jumps and stunts stuff

just got the same one you did yesterday. traded my dbxle 2.0 for a new infraction v2. i do have the felony in black but cannot get the rear tires for it and they are shot beyond useable. so i took my dbxle 2.0 to my local shop and he traded me for the same infraction you guys and gal have.

Do you know in the manual for the infraction it tells you that you cannot you should not get on the power when using the handbrake in forward or reverse it says you can damage your differentials and gears so just some warning

Let off throttle, apply steering and handbrake, handbrake breaks traction on rear wheels and allows you to hit throttle again to keep loss of traction. The start of a drift.

Nice, although how do you activate the handbrake, is there a button on the the control, does it work with the regular brake and if so how do you choose when to to do a nice clean 4 wheel brake stop or just lock up the rear wheels only?

Don’t use the handbrake on power!! You’ll burn up the center diff. It’s designed to be use off power only!!
