This was fun to identify the small sections of repaired and replaced parts before they were shown in their proper places. I know these Series 1 cars are valuable but can’t imagine the cost of your remanufacture. Much more time and labor involved than the original factory build!!❤

WOW, what a labour of love this has been, what skill and knowledge went into this amazing restoration is astounding! So very well done guys, you must be so proud of this resto AND the fact that you saved this fabulous lady and brought her back to life. Brilliant and thanks for sharing!

The original build quality by Jaguar left a lot to be desired, this certainly takes it to another level.

Mad dogs and Englishmen... Where angels fear to tread. 25+ years ago I did three rotisserie restorations of XK-Es, sills, floors, bulkheads, etc, but none so ambitious as this. Today, after a long hiatus, a project car was delivered to my house, a 1959 built Austin Healy 3000 BT7. It will be an interesting project, in 1997 I did a rotisserie restoration of a customer's AH 100M, I hope I remember some of what I did.

I love E types they're a thing of beauty, Fantastic job rebuilding this basket case it looks amazing 😎👍, Unfortunately I could never own one and I've never been in one though I've had the opportunity a few times as my step fathers friend owns one, Actually I may of had a ride it when I was a kid but my memory isn't that great 🤕, I'd never fit in one now I'm 6ft 5" and these things are made for leprechauns 😂😂.

My friend from high schools dad flew for TWA and one of the regular stewardess on International Flights had a Saudi rich boy friend that asked her what her favorite color was and she told hime pink. He bought her a new XKE painted special pink and surprised her with it. Was in the late sixties.

A great video and amazing restoration. Also really good to see an E Type brought back from the dead. The tax disc is interesting, I think 3565WK would have been the cars original UK license plate number and five pounds ten shillings for four months road tax seems quite expensive for the time, compared to average wages. Also being issued by Coventry City Borough Council the car was taxed locally to the factory so it was either a local dealer or it was taxed and used initially by Jaguar.

Beautiful, gorgeous, meticulous restoration but oh my god, why those hideous white wall tyres? 😮💨🙄 Btw there never was an XKE. There was only an E type.
