Pontiac's should have Pontiac motors in them. build a Chevelle if you want an LS

Well executed build! Looks like what Pontiac would have built if LS engines were available back in 1968. I suppose that there were 2 different mid-60's resto-mod builds going in in that shop at the same time; what with 2 AM frames on the trailer - 1 with a GTO wheelbase the other with a shorter wheelbase, probably for a 1st Gen Camaro or Firebird. Then I saw a what looked like a TH-400 on the floor waiting to be attached to an LS; came as a surprise to see a clutch master cylinder poking thru the firewall, and later a manual trans; and later yet a 6-speed gearshift knob. I wonder if we'll see the other resto-mod that was built, too.

Ruined the car, PMD was at war with Chebby , no fucking way a Chebby would have been used. PMD engines were superior to the SB2, and the SD PMD engines were superior to the BBC in every way.

@@ramairgto72 The SB didn't eat the timing gears like the Pontiac motors of the 60's did. At the service station that I worked PT at in 1965 thru 1970 we would screen the oil we drained for plastic particles from Pontiac engines so we could forecast how long the timing gears would last - 50 to 65,000 miles was typical for replacement unless the customer was a "religious" oil change keeper. And less than ten years later Pontiac engines all but disappeared for "GM corporate" engines - most of which were SM Chevy based or the Olds 403 starting in 1977 = the Grand Prix in particular comes to mind because my business partner bought a new 1977 Grand Prix and was very disappointed.

Ruined an icon with Chebby power, you can get a MR1A (alum.) Pontiac engine that supports well over 2,500hp for just a bit more money.
