Read the ending of Herman Hesse's- Steppenwolf with this playing in the background, as the author suggested in the book. Such an amazing experience, both the concert and the novel. I definitely recommend it!!

Le titre de son livre est "stoner", c'est incroyable, les caracteres, le description des evenements, l'auteur, tout!

The Movie Belle brought me here. Apparently, this is NOT the recording from the movie of this piece neither the last movement from the Concerto Grosso in D Major, and I don't know what the last piece is before the next scene after the party scene. Beautiful music though.

I am learning this in G major, why is this in F? Also, the Menuet, last movement, is way too fast, why?

Because Handel, his nibs, he that reigns supreme, wrote it in F major. The tempo is perfection. Change your attitude.

Its really not in F but E Major, just realized it after playing it on piano. :)

Baroque tuning. There “A” was not 440 but rather 415. That’s why their F sounds close to E to our ears.

Baroque tuning perhaps? Hertz=432 was more common back then, if I recall correctly. At least I know it was pitched lower.
