I've listened to this work dozens of times! I never realized so much time and energy went into the performances.....especially the attempts to reproduce it in the exact way Handel intended it to be performed.

A skillfully constructed tutorial on the newest release. Thoroughly enjoyable. Newest members of the choir adapting to versions was a thrill to behold. Getting 360 voices up to the variable tempo and volume is "quite a thrilling challenge" and getting to the peak of enjoyment for the conductor and the choir.

The artist of the painting is J. Kirk Richards. It was commissioned by the Choir when we put together the Messiah CD's.

Go to You Tube. There is a multitude of MTC music available. If you have Satellite or Cable, you may find a weekly broadcast of the MTC. Beautiful videos often accompany the music of the choir. I've been a regular viewer for many, many years!
