​@@rykehuss3435 I just searched his YT and can only find the standard Halvorsen variation everyone plays and which I've already learned? This Dr K version is more to my taste, it exercises the beautiful part that Halvorsen took from Handel and used repeatedly instead of just once(?), adding the best (imo) of the rest from the original which was unexciting for the most part, and it does it so well that and I'd happily pay Dr K US$50 for a MIDI file. I downloaded this video and edited it to correct the misalignment so I could learn from watching it but having a midi to feed to Synthesia would be a huge help. Music is subjective obviously, but to me THIS version is the best of three worlds : Handel + Halvorsen + Mr Boogie Woogie - go figure 😎

no it is not. Boogie Woogie is not even written down usually. You have to understand and feel the structure and rhythm, and memorize licks by practicing. Brendan certainly did not learn it this way, and nor should you.

Wow, thats an amazing version. Very different from my own. I tend to do a medley of Passacaglia and Fly me to the Moon. Those two songs just blend well into eachother. I love the introduction. May have to learn that for myself.

It's almost like follow the dots or lines, like each time your finger hit a key, that note is transformed into a beautiful stream or dot of color which pops like fireworks when you lift your finger off that key! Beautiful performance Brendan. I loved the compilation of classical pieces you played on a grand piano last year. Moonlight Sonata, Fur Elise, Passacaglia and Air on a G String were amongst the mix. I must have listened to that performance over a dozen times. I like the Boogie Woogie but I love classical music. I am waiting to hear you play Schubert’s Impromptu Op 90😁
