Rocky Wilz this is amazing the content is just mind blowing . You have done an excellent job of documenting this tradion. The scenic beauty of CURTORIM and Goa. The elderly couple has narrated it so well they had so much of joy in their hearts while sharing.They have given a complete insight of this miraculous cross. Our elders have all the information if not recorded will be lost forever.We should explore such traditions and customs which look ordinary but yet have a deep meaning. In our village we have Luminaria it would be great if you could cover. Elderly and other Seniors would be happy to narrate.

Thanks for this video... My mom always used to tell us about the HANDI KHURIX and it's power. From my Mama's house we can see the Cross. The place is so pristine and picture postcard type, with rolling hills making up the backdrop. Also its scerene n less inhabited that's y at any given time one can see a variety of birds. A bird lovers paradise too. It's heartening to know that Maina residents have resisted unchecked development n maintained local traditions. Thanks God bless Maina!!!
