So excited to find your videos!! You do an awesome job of demonstrating! I just started learning.... watching your video I was actually able to do my first edge to edge :) thank you!, till I got down to the last row and actually got the Frame error like you demonstrated lol. I tried to follow each step you did to correct it. I wasn't able to correct the error, evidently I couldn't get it in the right position to continue, but it was GREAT to have you show what to do when you do get the error! I did save the design & my measurements as you demonstrated before quilting, but didn't know how to save my work before shutting down. It was late and I knew that I would be saving it at an error. To save it, do you just select File & Save? I'm assuming that since I didn't save it, that I needed my quilt area & frame space in order to continue quilting? I did open the design that I had saved, and couldn't find a video to help me continue & finish the edge to edge quilting on the Lite. I looked for videos to reposition after a crash or reboot, but they were for the Pro Stitcher not the Lite. I hope you will make many more helpful videos and address issues like these for beginners with the Prostitcher Lite...

Thank you for your message, it is great to hear you have been able to get going on quilting! For saving your design you are correct, Select File, Save, then you can choose a folder to save in if you like and rename the design. Once you have saved your design and quilted you do not need an Area anymore, you do still need a frame space to be able to quilt, however. We shall create a video shortly to be able to help with this repositioning after a shutdown. Any other issues or video content you may like please feel free to email us at handcrafters@westnet.com.au :) Edit: we have made the video for this issue: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqaraKyoqaeqgsU

Fabulous videos. Thank you. You explain everything so clear and concise. Do you use the bungees on the side when you are quilting. Shame I'm on the other side of Aus or I'd be in your shop everyday.

I've just read down the other questions and found the answer. I'll be starting tomorrow to load my first quilt and get going with PSL. I'll have the video open so you can walk me through it.

Hi Greg. Another question for you. Why does my machine keep going back to the same place after my thread break? I’m trying to start my next row but it won’t let me. It also is still high lighted green where my thread broke. I have all ready did a new start and end where my thread broke. Just wanting to start the next row. Thanks
@HandcraftersHouse Жыл бұрын
Hi Vera, it sounds like you are canceling out of the stitch out. If you do this you will need to do New Start End and use the JUMP arrow to take you to the next row. Make sure your end point is still at the very end of the design. When it comes to the end of the row and say "long jump pause" use drag and drop and then once you have rolled on you can baste down your edges and press RESUME and it will do the Tie off (if you have them selected) and it will continue on with the next row.

How do you load r-foam on your longarm and quilt with it
@HandcraftersHouse Жыл бұрын
Hi Kathy, with quilting foam you will load your backing, lay your foam onto this and then your lay your top fabric onto this no need to roll it onto the bar. Then baste as you go and quilt as you normally would.

Why are you not using the clamps?
@HandcraftersHouse Жыл бұрын
Hi Dana, we do encourage quilters to use side clamps to help with side tensioning. In this video, it would have been an oversight on Greg's behalf whilst he was trying to focus on getting as much information into the video as he could. Good pick up though, thanks for that!! :)

After I open my previous pattern. The cross hairs. disappear! Help
@HandcraftersHouse Жыл бұрын
The pattern will have just opened further out, hit the house in the bottom corner to refresh the screen. This will show everything in view and then you will have to use Reposition to get your pattern lined up again.
