I am with John, you should apply through the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management for some of these business schools since you are a minority and first-generation college student. Michigan, Yale, Cornell, Berkeley, and Dartmouth are all Consortium schools that might offer you a two year fellowship (tuition-free) to attend their schools and you will have access to corporate recruiters and a network of Consortium alumni and current students.

Hello Sandy, I have been following you for years and I would love to get your help on my case: 3-years European-style BSc from Bocconi University, Finance major GPA= 110 summa cum laude, i.e. highest possible grade: 3.7-4 730 GMAT 3 years work experience in M&A advisory investment bank (Lazard/Rothschilds/Evercore) in London. 24 years old Italian White male Target schools= HBS, Wharton, NYU, Columbia, LBS, INSEAD (or any other school that would help me to break into PE) Career goals= Leveraging my IB experience to break into a private equity firm or a value oriented hedge fund. Additional question (very important)= Having a 3-years bachelor (which is the norm in Europe), I only have 15 years of education, would that be a problem?
