Dude I cannot thank you enough for the tip on loosening the fabric... it’s like I’m in a different world on my long arm now. I thought it might help, I had no idea just how much of a difference it would make.

I have taken classes from Kim and many, many other quilt teachers. She is without a doubt the BEST and I have dvd's of hers as well. She is precise, clear and funny. She has been teacher of the year also. Absolutely the best!

I have had the pleasure of cruising with Kimmy. Her calm easy manner made it a joy to learn from Her. This was an awesome webinar. Thanks Handiquilter for this generous video.

I’ve watch thousands of hours of quilting tutorials, maybe a hundred different teachers/educators, this woman is by a Mile the smartest, most sane, proficient teacher alive. I feel like becoming a fan and looking for anything she may teach in person, (Short of a stalker!), lol, she rocks real world longarm!

I loved this webinar! Kimmy did an awesome job showing how to keep straight and stabilize. She did a lot of work on samples and had a lot of tips. I need to watch again and take notes. Thank you Kimmy!

This was one of the most informative videos I’ve seen from handiQuilter aside from the webinar with Angela Walters regarding a long arm business start up. Granted I have yet to see the webinar you refer to in the video which I intend to locate and watch post haste. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful info!

This was absolutely awesome education. I have a long arm on the way, so I’m watching anything and everything in order to have somewhat of a grasp as I hit the new learning curve. This class is incredible. Thanks so much for being willing to share! Kimmy, I have a class on Craftsy that I also love. I have to say your voice and speed are so pleasing...easy listening :) Again, thank you for this class. I can start from the beginning doing things right...I like squared quilts!

I look forward to anything Handiquilter generously shares with us. But the sound is so low that even at my computer's top setting, I still miss so much
@cherylinct9028 жыл бұрын
I had the same problem with the low sound, I attached my ear buds to my computer and sound was just fine.

You might want to look at a set of really good speakers or external speakers. Perhaps powered speakers will make the difference for you. These videos aren't really that softly volumed.
@piecemaker24813 жыл бұрын
I find it is difficult to hear the conversations on most of your videos. Is it possible to up the volume on your end? I have to double the nirmal volume on my end. Love your videos. They are so helpful for newbies.

Can someone tell me the name of the pieced flower used in Kimmy's quilt?

Instead of a soup can which rolls how about using small bags of rice or dried beans which would stay in place?
@Bjlam1007 жыл бұрын
I think that's a good idea. They're probably using cans so that they'll move across the quilt by themselves, but the crash at the end would be disconcerting to most of us! Better we should move our rice bags manually as needed!

I miss Vicki. Wish she would come by to say hello.
