I like to lay double sided carpet tape over the plans that I get from Fast Tracks. You can still see through to the plan and it holds the ties in place really good. It's quicker than gluing. Nice work. Thanks for sharing.

A foot operated metal shear can shear the pcb material into strips without the noise, dust, tool wear, etc... Something like the Tennsmith 52" shear at my local sheet metal fabrication shop..... Otherwise, on a table saw, set a carbide tip fine tooth narrow blade as high as possible and wear a dust mask. Set the fence precisely with a ruler on both ends of the blade, and only cut strips no more than 6" long over a 0 clearance table (the blade has 0 clearance in the table top - raise the blade through a sanded smooth piece of plywood fixed or clamped to the table so it cuts its own minimal clearance). Be careful of the inevitable kick outs. The shear works much better and faster, though, and is much safer to use.

Hello, how are you? I follow your channel, I've been following your work and it's simply wonderful. Congratulations. I have a question, when constructing the turnouts you used a paper diagram as a template. Where can I get it? Can you help me with this?

Interesting and nicely done, but being a contrarian, I still prefer spikes and wood ties. Plus I cheat and use a cast frog.

Impressive work, beautiful layout........ not sure the way you operate that saw is terribly safe, but I can understand why that would be convenient.
