The XHE Electronic Handle applicator Machine represents
the top of the range of the handle machine series for
application adhesive handles. It is one of the best
performing and fastest machines on the market with
unique features:
- reaches speeds of 100 packs/min on a single lane and
200 packs/min on a double lane by applying the adhesive
handle on packs of 3x2 1.5 liter bottles with an optimal
handle length. Often in the catalogs of competing
machines maximum speeds of 130 packs/min and even
higher are declared, attracting the attention of interested
parties but it would be correct to declare what size of the
pack and above all how much depth the handle can reach
compared to the shoulder of the bottle, to equal amount of
adhesive tape, it is this length that determines its
tightness during transport.
- In the case of a double track machine the tracks are
completely independent as if they were two completely
separate machines. This brings advantages such as not
unbalancing the lanes and also in some cases where
double lane production switches to single lane for
particular formats, one side of the machine remains in a
state of rest.
-The fastest models do not require compressed air, the
handle applicator is moved exclusively by electric axes to
have maximum reliability, repeatability, synchronism and
precision at different speeds.
-Given the high speeds reached by the handle machine, our team of engineers has developed software with particular algorithms capable of perfectly managing the application of the handle even in transitory regimes such as the start-up, stop and speed changes phases required by the line, ensuring that the machine adapts completely and harmoniously to the other machines on the line.
-Generally it is supplied with three speed changes which come into operation both at input (bundler side) and at output (palletizer side) in order to avoid as much as possible numerous starts and stops of the machine obtaining enormous benefits on the life of the components and on the performance of production.
-One of the strong points of the machine is the movement of the application arm (patented) which is of the translational-rotational type. This innovative and functional concept of the movement is very important because it allows the two servomotors that move it to never reverse the direction of rotation ( the application arm never stops during the cycles) which leads to a long life of the mechanical components, especially of the planetary gearboxes.
This is one of the first characteristics that can be appreciated about this machine compared to the others on the market. It has a soft and progressive movement unlike the others which are jerky, they seem "nervous", let's think for just a moment what it might mean to stop an arm of application in a very short time when the speed is over 50-60 packs/min.
