You got it done!!! Well done Elyssa. Glad you like it. Also yes your line is stretched. In most cases it will be fine as it does work. Yet it will breakdown in time. Just keep an eye on that line if you’re not doing anything with it.

Thank you! Finally was able to do it!😁 and thanks for the tip about my brake line, I’ll definitely keep an eye on it and replace it for a longer one if any problems come up, but so far, it’s still good!🙌😁

Hey hon how you doing. Could you do a follow up video or follow up comment on after you ride your bike with the risers and let me know how sturdy and if you feel that everything has held? The reason I’m asking that is because I just had my daughter install the same risers on my bike and my risers did not come with that clear plastic that you were showing. I took off Friday for a quick ride to get familiar with my new bike and the handlebars turned down and I went down. My bike is currently under construction. But I think that maybe I was missing that clear plastic? And therefore causing the handlebars to roll down on me while in motion.
@LyssaWithAnE2 жыл бұрын
I am so sorry to hear that about your going down… I just did a ride yesterday testing out the new risers, and it worked perfectly fine, I had no troubles! I even stood up on my bike a few times during the ride to test if it was sturdy, and it was. No wiggle or anything, and the handlebars are positioned just the same as when I did the install, so no movement at all. The clear plastic pieces that came in the packaging with the screws really did help out, serving as a spacer. Because when I dri-fitted the handlebars at first, I know I noticed some movement in the handlebars still, so that’s what you might need to add for those risers… It’s weird that yours didn’t come with any…

@@LyssaWithAnE I’m still recovering from badly bruising and having a little bit of skin torn off but other than that I’m good. I saw another video from slight Moto and asked him if his risers which are the same ones that you installed, if he’s had those little plastic inserts and he said no. Needless to say I sent the risers back and I ordered a new set from Rivzilla, brand called Rizoma. I’m having a friend pull the dent out of the tank and repaint it.

@@LyssaWithAnE I do have one more question for you, did you torque everything down after you install the bars. I just bought myself a torque wrench so I’ll be ready when the new risers arrive.

If I’m being completely honest, I did not… I should, but I don’t have a torque wrench yet… Everything that I’ve installed on the bike, has not been torqued down👀🤫😅

Great! I noticed on your headlight cowl install, your motorcycle stand. Does it work well and do you like it? If so, what brand and model is it so hopefully I can check it out! Thank you! And how did the new seat install turnout, as far as comfort on longer rides? 👍
@LyssaWithAnE2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! As far as the motorcycle stand, I got it from Harbor freight here in California for about 45 bucks, and it’s well worth it! Very easy and simple to use, I usually put my bike on the motorcycle stand when I’m not riding. And as for the new seat, I love it! With the stock seat, after an hour of riding, my butt would start hurting and my legs would start cramping up, but now I can go 4+ hours without that problem with a new seat!

How tall are you? I’m 5’5 with a 29-30 inseam. Bike fits me like a glove, and have some knee bend when I’m flat footed at a stoplight.

@@YammieRalph my inseam is 28”. I used to ride a Yamaha V-Star 1100. It was great when it is running but feels very heavy when I’m maneuvering. It’s a effin beautiful bike though. That’s a really good thought. I wanted to dry fit the risers on there, to see how or if I’d like it.
