A Couple of Tips Before Opening a Danielsson Reel: Check for Noise First: If you're hearing any noise, it might just be that the handle needs some lubrication (I used 5-56). It’s worth checking this before opening up the entire reel (I learned this the hard way after taking mine apart!). Careful When Opening: If you've never opened a reel before, be aware that everything might fall out when you do. When reassembling, pay close attention to the rings seen at 4:17 in the instructional video. These rings should be placed on the underside, with the slightly curved sides facing each other. When you tighten the assembly, the rings will flatten against each other. This part wasn’t very clear in the video, and it took me a bit of trial and error to get it right. Cleaning Tips: After reaching out to support, I learned that if you find any residue inside the reel, it’s a good idea to clean it out with some brake cleaner. In my case, it turned out to be a simple fix, but this step made sure everything was in top shape. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the reel, and the video was incredibly helpful-thanks a lot! :)

Hej! jag har en klass 5 spö som är medium/fast. Spöt används i princip bara för torrflugefiske. vilken rulle skulle ni rekommendera? Dryfly eller f3w 2-6? kan säga att jag tycker dryfly rulle är bland dem snyggaste på marknaden. Det ända jag är lite tveksam på den är att den har ingen "riktig" broms. men det är väl vanesak...

Yes, but you can turn it off if you want to :)

Ah, makes sense why it was recommended to me then. I like the sound when the line is going out, but not when it's coming back in
