Beautiful creature I must say. About to get one myself.

Definitely some angry tongue action going on there. I'd like one but they seem to be more maintenance than what I currently own.

Beautiful snake...how often do you feed it and what do you feed it?
@gyvnaciukas6 жыл бұрын
I feed it on quail eggs, mouses, rats, small birds every week or two.

Natasha Figueroa it’s not happy at all, that tongue flicking is a warning, not it being curious.

@@OhioGuy216 the tongue flicking is it sensing it's surroundings, figuring out where it is. It's how it "smells"

These snakes are a rear-fanged colubrid with a nonlethal venom. I'm curious if it's ever bitten you, and if so, what that felt like if it injected any venom. I'll bet it would hurt more than a bite from a typical pet snake.
@gyvnaciukas5 жыл бұрын
I was bitten few times. If I'd close my eyes, let corn and mangrove bite me, I couldn't tell the difference.
@Darhan625 жыл бұрын
@@gyvnaciukas Oh! That's good. :) I'm guessing it probably didn't inject any venom.

@@Darhan62 it did, but very few people react to their venom. I'm not one of them, till now, at least.
