I'm reminded of a YTer who demonstrated how to make aluminum powder with a ball mill, and then demonstrated how flammable it is by lighting a small sample in his shed, directly over his entire yield of powder.

Dartmouth is also where Karen Wetterhahn worked. She died due an accidental exposure to dimethymercury, a hyper dangerous chemical.

they are really common in labs since the internals of normal fridges can spark which can light solvent vapors causing the fridge door to be blown off at high speeds. Many accidents have happened because labs used normal fridges.
