Handling Rejection and Canceled Dates

Rejection is an inevitable part of it. The simple fact is that not everyone is into everyone else. It does no good to brood on it or become sour over it. If you're getting far more no than yes, it may be time to re-evaluate your game or find a different party scene. As we are closer to your age now, we don't so much cruise the clubs or scenes dominated by 20-somethings. Not that some people aren't into older, but the odds of success go down markedly. Other clubs might be full of people who do more socializing than playing or have to become longtime friends before they play. If you're more into hit and run, you need to find the parties more geared for that and so on. As to cancelled dates, that happens to. Anymore though, the vast majority of times if someone says they want to meet us, we just tell them what party we're going to be at. That filters out the fakes and pic collectors real fast.
