Palytoxin is no joke. I'm glad that finally someone took on this subject properly. Thank you! Also, more fragging videos, please 😁All sorts of coral, LPS, SPS, softies and so on!

Petition for more unboxing vlogcasts please😎 I love the long form content and especially hearing your thoughts and methods for a bit more intricate topics in the hobby like getting into flow and how important it is, or different techniques for aquascaping, I would suggest making a nice intricate piece of Marco rock out of small pieces of busted up rock, powder from breaking the rock, and cyanoaccrylate glue for the new large ReefCasa tank you're replacing the custom tank with.

I've really missed these teaching videos!! I'd love to see one on how to frag (anything) inside your tank if you can't pull the rochwork out!!

A guy local to me had to get one of his eyes removed after fragging them without safety glasses, at one point they were worried it might have also spread into his head & possibly brain but thankfully it didn't.

I put palys into my tank the first year because I'd heard they were easy. They were, they grew like crazy. I took the rock out and scrapped them off like a dumb ass. I rinsed the rock many times and let it sit in water for a while. Thinking I'd done enough I put it back in the tank. Within 30 minutes all of my hard corals bleached. The fish and softies were fine. Several days of carbon and I began to restock my LPS and SPS. Never again will a paly get near my tank. I'm probably lucky I didn't end up in the hospital.

Is there a list of polyps known to contain palytoxin? Given the number of morphs I'm assuming that would be tough to do. I'm glad you tackled this one though - you've shown that it can be done with relative ease, as long as you take the proper precautions. Honestly we should treat most if not all corals with similar care while fragging or working in our tanks. It's insane how much a cheap pair of gloves can do to protect.

Every time you say you’re specialized in saltwater corals makes me wonder, are there any freshwater corals? Serious question
