Hey Vanessa 😁 Ok you had me giggling at your excitement in making a bonfire with them candles 😂 And well the E600 glue was so good to you just a spilling a big old puddle for you to use 🤭 I’m so glad you was inspired by my tutorial , and each time someone else makes them they are so unique that they look amazingly beautiful to that crafters style. Hi Vanessa! You had me in hysterics! I love how much fun you had trying something new. And excuse me your flower is so pretty! The glass pearls perfectly complimented the satin. As soon as you showed that gold paint I was telling you “gild the very tip of the edges of the petals” that and the gold tulle would be gorgeous!

Lovely experiment. I remember seeing a video of how silk flowers are manufactured and they have these heated metal shapes they lay, drag or stamp on the fabric the make the impression/curl up the edges. Quick PSA 📢 for anyone wanting to try - synthetic fabrics (poly satin) take a little longer to catch fire because they are basically plastic, but once they’re alight it’s molten plastic, it will drip while still on fire, and if that hits your skin in with keep on burning through all your skin layers 🫣 just saying because your knee jerk reaction would be to smother the flame by smacking your hand on it (fine with cotton and silk).

Oh wow! I didn't know that! I am so happy you told me that, I just sent out a newsletter about satin ribbon, which is made mostly of polyester blends nowadays, so that makes sense about the fire! Good point to keep in mind when doing this craft!!!! Aw I'm so happy you came by and watched! Thank you!

I love your flowers! This is my 2nd favorite flower to make. I cut my petals and hold them with tweezers as I move around the flame. You did a great job & have inspired me to try adding lace petals to mine. I have never done this!! Enjoy your new flowers!! 🩷🩷
