Love these! The glitz glitter gels look AMAZING, especially on the colored cardstock. Totally agree with you about the stencil pal...game changer. I was never really happy with my results when I used to use just a palette knife, but the stencil pal makes applying pastes and gels so easy and effortless. I also find I waste far less, too! For a really vibrant pink embossing powder, I think Wow Embossing Powder have the best/biggest choice, (razzleberry, primary pink robin, fluorescent pink, glitter carousel, and cupcake heaven) but also Brutus Monroe (Neon Magenta) and Wendy Vecchi (Cactus Flower).

Fun, fun cards! I love the glitz glitter backgrounds with the lips stencil. Can’t wait to get the kit with the Rina K neon glitter gel. That’s stunning. I have a whole freaking drawer of embossing powders. Brutus Monroe makes an in your face neon pink one and Ranger makes one called Cactus Flower that’s a little more subdued. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards as always!

I checked my embossing powders and I have a raspberry tinsel and a pink peony (both are Ranger) but both on black have a medium pink look, I have lots of colors but I use them on flowers that have solid stamps for coloring as a change up from inks or watercolors. Great cards, I got the February kit but didn’t think I’d use the Valentine’s Day kit for as much. Love the Rina K glitter gel tho... Thanks for sharing your ideas and your time!

p.s. Thanks for the tip about inlaying white arrow parts to the arrow outline. I cut a whole bunch of those arrows this past weekend and they did seem a little underwhelming. If I add back in a contrasting color, that will give them more ka-pow, to quote Erica A-B.

Love the lips!! You said you wanted to know if there was a bright pink embossing powder out there… Brutus Monroe makes one called Conversation Heart and it is a super hot pink!! The only thing about it is it’s so heavily pigmented that no matter what you put down first: cornstarch, baby powder, embossing buddy etc. it stains your paper. I have literally tried everything to no avail. It ended up in the trash lol.

I'm loving your Valentine's series. Would the stencil pal work better if you flipped it around? So the curved side is in your hand, and the flat side is used to scrape the stencil?

Hi Nicole! These cards are just awesome! I have seen some crafters use the rounded edge of the stencil PAL instead of the flat side, which is how I would use it. Is there an advantage to using the rounded side? I haven’t purchased one yet and am using a silicone spatula for now. Love your cards!!!

I am not sure the advantage but I find it works great. This was how the Thermoweb website showed it being used when they released it so that's how I've used it. Nice, thin, even application every time!

This is the storage I use for sequins, gems, etc. amzn.to/2NiQ6vH Most companies don't sell their products in these however some Trinity Stamps gems come in these already. Hands down, my favorite way to store these kinds of embellishments. I have four of these trays and they keep everything organzied!

Looking at the lip print stencil I was feeling like it was really racy. I’m thinking I wouldn’t give a card with that design on it to anyone but a lover & as I only have one…I mean how many cards could I give him with that pattern? (Do I seem uptight or what?) But watching this it occurred to me that if you where lipstick all the time and are used to seeing lip prints, you probably see this stencil in a totally different context. Then my reaction felt laughable. I only wear lip stains and even that only like 5 times a year. I detest the way lipstick feels and have never worn it. It works out because my husband hates being kissed by people wearing lipstick. He can’t stand the way it feels either. I love the pink card with the layered hearts. It really surprised me because I’m not really a fan of pink, especially those shades, but that card is really great. So fun!

I would never have thought of that! I saw "lipstick" (but I do love make-up!) It's always interesting to me how our minds see and process different products! 🤗 I am not a neon pink girl at all but I took a chance and I have to say that using it on colored cardstock was the game changer for me! I also used it on black cardstock and it looks amazing (but I smudged it so I didn't use that one for the video).

All the cards are amazing! I quit buying his kits because I feel they're no longer worth the awesome price and the only kits that look fun are the special editions but waking up at midnight just to find they've already sold also not great.
