I love your flowers they are so pretty I've got so many doilies that I don't use and they have holes in them and stuff they have beautiful edgings just like yours too I think you gave me the great idea to do some beautiful flowers cuz I haven't tried it yet but I'm going to thanks for sharing this with us and I did save this video so I could go back and look at it if I need to thank you so much

I've been crafting since birth(lol) and my craft studio is always in a state of craziness! 😜But if I didn't use my creativity, I know I'd be looney!! Thank you for your hilarity, your realness and your generosity-- I see it in every video! I've thought about maybe doing tutorials, but I guess I'm too chicken! I do have craft nights w/ my neighbor girlies--and attempt to sell my jewelry online--but that's as far as I've attempted. Back in the 80's & 90's I did craft shows in San Jose, Ca(lived there for 30 years) but now we're in Southern California & craft shows are few and far between.☹️ Thank you for your inspiration & wonderfully clever ideas- you're a treasure!! I live in America and it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get my package from Fiona, so keep that in mine when you order from her. These are gorgeous! Added it to my flower crafting playlist. Hope you will keep doing flower tutorials in different styles! I don't have alot of lace suitable for flowers yet but am making strips from a white sheet which I plan on dying various colors to create some folded and gathered flowers with.

Remember to take out some of the threads to fray the edges and you'll end up with stunning shabby chic ones :0) xx

Made my first one yesterday and my strips were a bit too narrow but sort of combined several techniques to use it anyway and because I had so many small pieces from just one strip I got a nice dense flower out of it that kind of looks like a Carnation. Had lots of sheet left over so I made some wider strips that will work well with that technique where you fold it corner to corner and then pull the other corner up to make sort of a cone shape. Cotton frays pretty nicely in one direction but not the other for some reason. I find that folding it up the middle to have those frayed edges oriented outward at the edge of the petals really shows those edges and created a nice fuzzy flower!
