I knitted this one with a Cotton yarn recommended for 3mm size needles. I'm a M size but I didn't modify the pattern (I tried but the top was turning out too big) so I knitted it with the exact instructions and stitch count seen in the video (as XS) however, after a little use and one wash, the top stretched quite a bit... Now it's huge. I didn't know cotton stretched so much (or maybe my yarn is not!the highest quality)... Anyway I unraveled it and now I want to re do it but I'm afraid it will stretch so much again. Is it possible to know your gauge for this project? It will help a lot. Thank you

Mecerized cotton doesn't shrink or stretch as much as non-mecerized (lion brand 24/7 is mecerized as an example). It's also worth noting that cotton doesn't have that nice elastic-like quality that animal wool and some synthetic fibers have, so it will have a tendency to "grow" while wearing it. To combat this you can buy plant/wool blends or plant/synthetic blends (I say "plant" because most plant fibers aren't very elastic, not just cotton); another option is to knit a swatch, aggressively block it, and base your stich count off of that, it might feel a little tight when you first put it on, but it will relax with wear. Just keep in mind that non-mercerized cotton will shrink around 3-5% from washing and drying. I hope that helps! 😊

22:45 this tedious task can be skip if you put the cast on stitches in a spare knitting needles n knit the front n back stitch tog while folding the bottom band. Just sharing 💕

OMG! The top is beautiful but not sure enough information is provided to actually tackle this top. Need to provide yarn, guage, cord, and clean up the instructions a bit so others can understand with no confusion. In addition, the pattern is not provided to the subscriber that includes multiple sizes of the top. Keep working on your videos you'll get there soon. Starting around 8:36, the written pattern states cast of 2 stitches, and if I am counting correctly, you use slip 1, slip next 1 cast off, then cast off two more. Perhaps I am incorrect, please if someone may respond to let me know what I am missing here if the cast off 3 stitches at this point and turn is incorrect. Thank you

No, you just keep going, because the top is knitted as one piece, in the round! :)

Thanks for your reply :) I'm not sure though whether I should follow the explanations for the neck line and arm hole when I continue from the back, or if I should follow the explanations from a bit before that? I mean, once the front part of the neck line and arm holes are done for the front part and I have put them on the stitch holder, do I only do neck line and arm holes for the back or do I start knitting again like at 8'30 and follow the pattern from there? Sorry if my question is not clear!
