@@davesislandinstruments Have been watching and have learn a lot as a trainy tuner on my own here in Barbados. How heavy is that hammer tuning the tenor? When using the ear protection can you hear the note clear or you rely on watching the tuner itself?Thanks

your not explaining anything. No one wants to just watch you tune a pan bro. Your not explainin how to use the app. Your not explaining how hard to hit it. Like what’s the point of your videos?

i really enjoy him and others tune the instruments. yes, commentary would be nice, but most likely pretty sparse. if you watch closely, you might be able to deduct hitting which part of a note changes certain characteristics, such as the fundamental, octave and compound fifth being tuned. linotune is a digital strobe tuner, to understand how it works you might want to look up the peterson strobe center 5000, there's some fascinating video explanations about the technical details. also, i get your frustration with not finding a lot of easy to digest information on the tuning of steel instruments. but instead of getting angry, just ask questions :)
