i love the juxtaposition of how the viewer knows everything is purely in the player's hands and Sans' and Papyrus' hope that they could change their fate. It's really twisted and angsty and pretty fucking sad, but i love it as a plot device

Sans isn't the only one feeling hope! Still.. I was never sure when or whether to bring this up, but have you considered changing your Papyrus voice? In the earlier days of the series, it stuck out in a good way, sounding much more like a young Papyrus than most other attempts. However, when we get to the point of the main timeline, Papyrus is much more mature - at least in body. I'd understand if this is unlikely due to your limits, but it's still an idea.

i believe it's the judgement hall! the red is sans' blood/ketchup, while the gold is the walls of the judgement hall. could be wrong though!
