I gave you a like and a sub since you’re the ONLY guntuber I’ve seen so far that’s actually honest about the distance of your targets. You said you zeroed your sight at a 100 yards and it looks like a hundred yards. So many other guntubers will say their targets are 30-50 yards away, and they reach the target within 5 steps. 😂

Either HWS or Prismatic sights, before you do shell out the dough for an Eotech I suggest looking at prismatic sights first because they can be easily bought for less than half the cost of an eotech

I have the same issue with the up down turret thankyou for the info I sprayed wd40 contact cleaner and it made it better but not perfect. mine is a XPS2-0. I sent it back for this issue and they did not fix it so once again thankyou for your advice much better now!!

@@targettamers i actually cancelled the order for the holosun 512 for an EOTECH exps2-0. what first sold me on the holosun was the 50k hours of battery, shake awake, and the 3 reticle options. But in the end of the day im still dreaming of the tank like construction of the EOTECH. And i came to the conclusion that battery life isnt an issue as im using my ar for home defense and not using the sight 8 hrs a day for duty. And to know that i can own a piece equipment used widely by LEO or military helps me sleep better at night.

Excellent review and very detailed. I have AR15 and AR10 platforms. My intent is to add to my Sig Sauer 716i Tread AR10 that I own and need decide which is best option between the Holosun 510C or EOTech EXPS3-0 for home defense, everyday truck carry, and tactical range operations. Ha, this is certainly up for debate but here's my two cents. The EXPS3 has been awesome for me and has held up in numerous downpours (rain). I use it for target shooting though it does hang out with LE for range trainings and ride alongs in a patrol car. The 510C has ultra-long battery life, Shake Awake, multiple reticles, and the back-up power source (Solar Fail Safe). My experience with its build quality has been excellent - holds zero, no shattered glass, and handles the bumps and grinds of occasional truck carry with ease. I would say that for many applications, including yours, the 510c is going to do just fine. It has the features and performance to keep up for home defense and range use. I love it and personally keep it on an AR15 for those purposes. Comparisons... Holosun: absolute co-witness VS EXPS3: lower 1/3. Holosun center dot: 2 MOA VS EXPS3: 1 MOA. The Holosun has Shake Awake, so it's going to reactivate the dot upon sensing motion. The EXPS3 only has Auto Off, so you'll need to manually hit the buttons to reactivate it. Holosun: 10 daylight and 2 NV settings. EXPS3: 20 daylight and 10 NV settings. Holosun: CR2032 battery VS EXPS3: CR123A. Holosun: 20,000-50,000-hr battery runtime (I've not once changed the battery in.. oh, at least 3 years) VS EXPS3: 1,000-hr runtime (holographic requires more energy). You will see dot distortion to some degree with both optics if you have astigmatism. Both come with a 10-year max warranty though there are conditions. Good luck! Nice Sig by the way - Tina

fantastic review. Great job. sub earned. my son took out at the range and tried to zero it in. He indicated he must have gone about 12 full circle trying to zero in at 25 yds. Is there a way to reset the EXPS3-0

Thanks for the feedback! If I understand right, sorry he had such a hard time trying to sight in! I think you're asking for a reset as in to get the sight back to a mechanical center? This would be to 'start over' again? Dial the turret all the way to one side until it essentially bottoms out - and stop. You don't want to force it (you'll feel some resistance). Now, count each click all the way in the opposite direction until you reach the end. Divide the number by two. This is the new number of clicks to make to get to the mechanical center. Repeat for the other turret. Good luck and I hope that helps - Tina.
