Love it! Is it possible to change straps? F.ex. Get a custom leather one where you can change the straps based on occasion?

These watches do not have leather straps included and only are available with rubber straps but the good thing about this watch is, the lugs or the case have no specific shape which means you could take any regular leather strap and use it :)

Thanks to the "Gerald" and the "Charles" they overprice it at leat 50%, imagine if they had the right to add the "Genta", for the same watch it would triple the already insane price... what a shame !

Could be but is not every brand using some kind of a celebrity or a name to push their timepieces? I mean, for an average brand using ETA movements you pay easy very quickly around 5K and more...just because it's the "brand" - im not mentioning any names ;-) I think for a brand such as GC which produces around 2'000 pieces per year where handicraft is still used, you get at least some exclusivity.

You have a point, but in the case of GC, I tried their Maestro 2.0 and GC Sport the other day at a retailer - the watches are quite good, but the finishing and overall quality is quite far from what you see elsewhere on the €17-18k range. It is like the 2023 IWC Ingenieur: there is a "Genta" frenzy that inflates the price of those watches waaay out of their leagues.

@@profocine im curious now, which timepiece is in the range of 17K for you a benchmark? Or let's say, what is the timepiece in your opinion which is the price of the GC worth? :)

@LesAmbassadeurs-Watches good reply, which makes me admit that if I am so hard on GC, it is because I am a pesky frustrated little man who wanted its GC Sport Clay but could not convince his reason to pay the price... I went for a Grand Seiko SLGA019 instead. In my opinion it is a better finished watch than the GC (the mesmerising textured dial, the complexe combination of brush and polish on the case, the hands and the hour markers, the Spring Drive caliber, etc.) - but if the GC had been at the same price I would have picked it instead. But at 17-18k GC cannot compete with a JLC Reverso Duo Calendar, a Glashütte Seventies Chronograph, a Czapek Quai des Bergues or a H. Moser Endeavour just to pick a few

@@profocine I get it, interesting that you would have picked the GC if the price was better - nevertheless, if you haven’talready, you are welcome to check out the GC in real life at one of our boutiques & maybe have an interesting exchanged 🙏
