Excellent video. I didn't know that previous omega moonphase watches were 17mm thick. All of a sudden I am hopeful that Omega's other watches will be slimmer going forward as well

Absolutely gorgeous. Definitely checks all my loves in a watch and would be my grail 1 watch... blue, meteorite dial, moonphase, date, Speedy, historical significance, etc... however, just really sucks that it's so expensive. It doesn't need to be that high! I can justify it at $10k because in 10 years it'll be somewhat obtainable in the $7-8k range pre-owned. But starting it at $17k ensures that it'll stay above $15k long term, forever unobtainable. I mean, it’s more expensive than a market value Snoopy!

Good review. Really nice watch. Those moons are so much nicer than a plain white or gold or the dreaded moon face. Amazing movement as well so glad they kept it manual with a giant bridge to make it robust to shock and stay relatively thin. Thanks Abdullah! I wish I could afford one

It’s a very nice watch, but the level of pricing inflation is really going for it and we all know that the reason for this is lower down the watch pyramid sales are really struggling, this is a manual wind movement which is going to be a real acquired taste also meteorite dial. Formex offer this and when you look at the two watches next to each other it’s impossible to justify more than a couple of thousand dollars in price increase. This is becoming a big problem which is seriously affecting sales of other swatch group brands.

The dual moon cut-out is so obnoxious. A moon phase is there to tell you the state of waxing/waning which is identical regardless of the hemisphere.
