Awesome, Since I purchased this a couple of months ago there’s no need to purchase any other brand emergency radio.. I own many other brands, nothing even close to this quality radio.

I bought two of these , the quality feels good , I did have one little problem , the l.e.d. light button broke , I pressed the button to turn on the light and pressed it again to turn off the light , it did not turn off ???? so I removed the rechargeable battery and the light went off . I replaced the battery and the button will not turn on or off the light and this is on day one 04/03/2022. So I'm keeping one and sending the bad one back . the rest of the radio functions fine I'm not sure why the light button failed . Sound quality is great , reception and selectivity are great it's C Crane . This is my dooms day radio , I want a back up radio just in case .

Get the Kaito Voyager KA500L. It`s half the cost and includes shortwave in two bands that are easy to tune. The solar panel can power it with the batteries removed.

It's not IP rated waterproof but there are covers over all the ports so it's going to take a bit of splashing before there's a problem.
