Thank you, do you know if it is possible to turn off a section of the lights. I think they would be too long so I would like to be able to have a section at the end unlit

Now that's a good question. I know you can change the colour of individual strings but I actually didn't look to see if you can turn some of them off. I just had a peek inside my app and it doesn't appear that they can be turned off… But there is so many options for customization in here that it might in fact be possible. I hope someone else here has an answer for us all.

Do you prefer icicle or permanents? which one looks better?

I purchased (1) 32 ft Govee Icicle light. I guessed wrong and Im about 10 feet short. So I purchased another 32 foot which will arrive in a couple day. I know I'll need a separate extension cord for it but will they sync up as one for patterns and such? And does anyone know for future use could I purchase a power splitter for it for next year? Thanks

Yes it will sync up with the other lights. Just use the Dreamview section in the app to add it to a grouping.

you cannot group 2 icicle together to synchronize (grouping), even they are same type. It's a shame. Hope that will come in future update. Dreamview grouping has less functionality than a real "same type" group.

Mine just failed in heavy rain 😅 one section is out . Haven’t checked further yet , hoping they come back to life once dry outside

Overall well produced video. Feels like there's too many transition animated graphics that are not needed and are very distracting.

But not the powerbrick. It has a lower IP rating, IP45 I believe.
