That weapon is called a "Kama", it is a traditional Japanese farming instrument very much similar to a sickle used for reaping crops and also employed as a weapon. It is often included in weapon training segments of Karate and other martial arts in different countries. Sometimes it is referred to as kai or "double kai" when wielded in a pair, kama demonstration purposes are referred to as kata kai. That is a Bo staff you are correct. The bladed staff is called a naginata.

Super late to the party but finally got ahold of a handful of basic ninjas and holy smelly stuff they are the funnest to play and pose with. Articulation is what we collectors been wanting for years. High end quality at an affordable budget. And now I sound like a commercial lol either way I'm all in on the Spring '21 rereleases. Cheers

i don't know the actual names of the weapons, but i know they were all originally farming tools. ninjas fought dishonorably against the honorable and high class samurai. ninjas were mostly present and wanted to revolt and that's all they had access to.

Cash Dunn yes if you want them all I tried to order one of the basic once and it was only $30, what I meant was that the shipping and import tax made the total price over $100, just for one figure which is too much. As you live in the US shipping was $10 so $40 is pretty resonable for this quality of figure. 😊

Thats cool, i just pre-ordered the SDCC Thor box set from a uk on-line dealer with free shipping for a little more then the cost price of $100, on ebay with shipping an tax it would be more then $300, so that is a big difference.

Sylen That's the light reflecting off the glass that's given them that shine. In normal light theirs no glaze to them.
