Hey Rob! Yes, that sure is a beautiful piece. I also prefer the white gold, like you said... Less conspicuous... I'm lucky to own a Rolex Yacht-Master 40 mm Rodium with the sunburst 'slate' grey dial. The dial is stunning, and with the ice blue secondhand, it's mesmerizing. Have a wonderful day!

I believe the Rose Gold with Black/Grey Ombré dial was released at the time of the Oscars - that’s my personal favourite in the Day Date line up

I think you're right about the Oscars. The smoky black ombre dial is amazing....I just don't care for rose gold. The green ombré is great, too!

@@RobtheAmerican DD36 ist king! However the current references look to feminine to me. I think I'd go for a (neo) vintage DD36 if I could afford it.
