Dude, making friends is impossible. The guys that are being polite or friendly to you are really just trying to two face you. Most of the time people just take passive aggressive shots at me and are at least honest about their jealousy. Others will hide it then try to subvert you. For me when i started putting a lot of muscle on, i lost all of my friends and found making them just wasnt possible. Doesnt matter how polite or friendly you are to them. EDIT: Dont let another guy hear from women that they find you attractive.. its all out war then. This happened at work a lot.

You couldn't be more right at my old job this dude I really didn't care for to begin with as I could barely understand anything he says and he talks too much, started being cool with me and I thought we were cool. Till this girl he liked started hitting on me nearly everyday, while he's in the friendzone with her being her best buddy. He started hating and id just ignore him as when you're obviously better than someone you don't need to defend yourself, he never stopped hating till i just completely acted like he didn't even exist when he'd say something. At first I thought he was playing as most people are really nice to me, even if I don't say a word besides maybe a greeting they'll talk my ear off and be glad to see me primarily the ladies, and other dudes respected me. I primarily only speak speak if spoken to unless we're cool like that, otherwise I'm on my silent killer vibes as you say.
