The one that's a pirce piece of shit was bought off Amazon for $13, the other 149 were custom made by someone that specializes in making calligraphy pens/glass pens. I love my glass pen .the ink flows quite well and lasts longer than pointed dip pen . Bought them on Amazon. The tip does become dull over time either evenly or on one side, a light hand should help . The letter forms stand out with a glass pen , and some inks work better than others , I love using the sumi ink with it and give it a thorough clean after use, the paper you use depends on the ink you are working with.
