Chinook Salmon fishing on Columbia River near Vernita Bridge. The upper Columbia River is the last free flowing stretch of the Columbia River and is home to the largest salmon run in Washington State. Anglers flock to this area to have a chance at a King Salmon. Many of those fisherman book their trip with John Plughoff of Plughoff outfitters. John is one of the top salmon guides on the Columbia River and is the person to call if you want to land one of these great fish.
