She doesn’t mean it in te lgbtq way, it’s also widely used as like odd or strange. Just like gay also means happy or joyish. Words have many meanings.

I agree with the “that’s so gay” saying. People may or may not mean it but they’re basically saying being gay isn’t cool or ok. Cause they’re calling something they don’t like gay. But gay also meant happy but this was used more in the early 1900s. The Flinstones theme end3 with “we’ll have a gay old time”, as in joyous or fun. They called the 1890s the gay 90s cuz how fun it was, to them not to me.(I think it called the 1920s the gay 20s) as for queer that was and still is a word with other meanings like the one I said. Look in the dictionary. Trust me they didn’t use that kind of language on tnbc shows, they were so squeaky clean that they were a bit corny at times. @@mikewalsh1189
