Whenever I listen to this song, I am somehow transported back to the first time…I mean the real first time I can say that I loved someone romantically. I remember the pavements we walked along Tomas Morato. Naalala ko pa, kwinento ko how my hometown got its name. He then told me stories about the place where he grew up. At that time, I was just walking along with someone for a good hour. Never have I thought that my life would be shaped by one person. I am sure that I no longer love him, but how I loved him. More than anything, I really do miss the version of me that is capable of being devoted to someone so fearlessly, the way I did loved him. My hope is for a future where I could still have the privilege of falling in love with all its complexities. When I first heard Kyla sang this song was when I was in highschool and me and my friends went to the Calamba City plaza to watch artists perform to celebrate Jose Rizal's birthday. I think it was around 2001 or 2002. Then, I heard Kyla sang on the stage and heard her voice live. I cant explain how I felt that time. What I can remember is that I tried to come closer to the stage to see and hear if that is a true voice I am hearing. And that's when I started loving Kyla. I think beyond the technique, Kyla’s voice alone is truly what separates her from the rest. She has this tone that’s so airy, husky & cool, and it comes so naturally. There’s not much editing you need to do. You literally feel like you’re listening to angel. Not only that she is gifted with such a beautiful tone (honestly the most beautiful I’ve ever heard), God also gifted her the ability to execute vocals most singers aren’t able to duplicate. Every time she does runs, it’s always so clean and precise. Always well practiced, well thought of, and always well done. You want to listen to it again and again.

Grabe naman po Ms Kyla sobrang ganda ng song talaga na to. Sobrang sakit din po. :( Ito yung soundtrip ko nung mga panahon na gusto ko na i-let go yung long time crush ko. So here we go, I had a crush since 1st yr hs. Actually di ko naman talaga expected na tatagal feelings ko. Mas nakilala ko siya kasi naging classmates kami ng 1st at 3rd yr. I saw yung pagle-level up nya hehe. Dati wala akong masyado kaagaw pero nung tumatanda na kami, daming nagsisulputan na may crush din sa kanya. That time close na rin kami lalo na nung nag 3rd yr hs kami. Dito yung marami kaming away, tampuhan tas moments hehe. Dati rin parehas kaming sumali sa COCC. Dahil daw sakin kaya siya sumali. Touched ako haha. Then, napapansin din kasi ng mga officers namin na para raw may something kami e bawal daw yun. Kaya pinipilit nilang may isa dapat mag-quit. Parehas naming ayaw mag-quit. Syempre ang tagal na namin. Tapos ayun yung araw-araw na ginaganun kami, nag-usap kami. Nag-pretend akong kaya ko pigilan feelings ko pero hindi e. Lalo ako napapamahal sa kanya. Masarap siyang mahalin and worth it ka talaga, Oliver! Then may long message raw sya sakin at hindi ko nabasa. Di kasi kinaya yata ng phone ko :( nakakainis kasi dapat nabasa ko. Not sure kung ghosting ba tawag dun. Kasi lahat naman ginawa ko mapansin nya lang. Kaso wala e, kesa naman ipagsiksikan ko pa sarili ko.Mas pinili ko nalang huminto at hindi na sabihin sa kanya. Siguro yun nga yung sa untold story nila Ryan at Yeng, yung di nagpaalam si Ryan na hihinto na sya. Nakaka-relate ako kay Ryan kasi akala nya ayaw sa kanya ni Yeng.
