Ive never seen it done with male irons and chrome pipe before, I always keep 100 mm rad extensions on the van and cut down to suit, saves a few pennies rather than buying chrome pipe, Great videos mate, always enjoy your content , keep up the good work 👍

Cheers mate, yeah I wasn't sure exactly how much I'd need either side so thought I'd give this way a go. At least I've got left over pipe now and just need to get a pair of male irons for next time

Fantastic video. The wall paper behind the radiator was an art statement, thank you for not painting over it.

You can also apply foil insulation behind the radiator for three reasons: 1) aesthetics, 2) hiding wallpaper imperfections, and 3) increasing the radiator's efficiency.

Good job mate. I hate fitting rads on old partition walls with lats. The plaster crumbles into dust. It can be very frustrating sometimes. Does anybody have any tips? Thanks in advance.

I fitted a rad into scabby plaster that I didn't trust so put a block of wood under it the bear the weight.

sorry did i miss something ,,did you measure the brackets wrong on 2 or 3 times and the chrome pipes should have been the same distance to radiator . Are you a fully trained ?

Nope, can you teach me please?

The lock shield doesn’t need to be any where near that far open. Would have looked a lot better if it were central.

Rad valves are too fiddly. I changed a rad in the spare room and put in elbow joints instead with quarter-turn lever inline valves. Great when the rad is very seldom needed.
