Glad you like it. I did the remix for myself because I loved the song and thought it needed a big Ellie ending. Rap music isn't really my thing and Tinie Temper's part spoilt it for me. Nothing a bit of careful Cubase editing couldn't fix!

Moacir Christ Yeah. Between politics, hyper-commercialization and gimmicks, I think the spirit of it all is lost. It’s been that way for a while now. As I got older, it became harder to listen to because of N-word this and that (I know that’s a blanket statement, but it ended up being the difference between rap & hip hop). There’s so much of it I have to keep the kids from, it’s easier to just censor it in my household. I don’t owe Jay-Z a thing. I just grew out of it.

It should have been longer, the fact that it repeats at the end makes it that much better.........."With you and me" should be the only words in the whole song, those words are all that`s needed, the way she says it, it means so much more then just ......"With you and me"

its not even that its too much, its just that where the splicing gets more intricate the noise gate is broken so it get distorted, if he lowered the volume of each piece he was blending it wouldn't have that effect. notice how much louder it gets when after 3 minutes. its just cause the clips are playing at once and his software couldn't condense that much at once

Nice edit. I actually like (some) rap, but the Tinie Temper ending really detracted from the original, this is about the contrast of Ellie's voice and the ... pretty industrial ... bass line. And you preserved that. Just wish they'd used this song in a film with more substance than "Divergent". Something with balls. Something with anger. Something with rage.

Whoever mixed the extensions needs a bit more practice cause it was very distorted after about 3 minutes till the end of the song. the layers that they stacked where overpowering each other and cause a lot of sound glitching. they sound good in concept but they were poorly done
