Awesome location, despite all my years of walking around the Blue Mtns, I've never been there. Definitely one to add to the bucket list.

Your infectious smile and attitude, together with your production quality, is insane. This is a six or seven digit subscriber channel. Keep posting.

Mate just came across your vid and what a cracking vid. Thanks for the HUGE effort stopping setting up the camera, riding past, coming back for your camera, breaking it all down, packing it up and repeat a million times. I do the same so can appreciate it all so thanks for effort cus the vid is really engaging and informative. Subbed.

Hey mate. Cheers for the kind words. You're spot on with the camera work, A lot of these more hiking type channels can just walk with a camera and tripod in hand, sit it down, get a shot, pick it up and keep walking. It's very different on a bike and super time consuming. I just watched your channel trailer. Dream trip one. I can see you know exactly what I'm talking about. I keen to watch a few more videos. My wife and I are planning on doing a lap of Aus in 2025 and we are still deciding what vehicle to do it in. I have a 4WD and was thinking of getting an old caravan to toe. Only problem is I want to do some multiday bikepacking trips while out there. I think we've decided to get a sprinter with push bikes in the back and my dirt bike on a rack. That way Sarah can live and drive around while I'm out bikepacking and not have to worry about a caravan. Keen to see some of the places you went. Cheers. Tim

Its a great idea to do a shakedown tour before going off on a multi day/week adventure, it shows up potential problems in the setup and with the kit. I did the same thing before going on a big European tour, I did a five day with all my kit and I did find a few issues. Even tho I did that ,after getting 1200 miles into the tour I discarded about 6 kilo of stuff I realised I didnt need.

Nice ride. I've been there a few times as my parents live within riding distance from there now. I don't take my bike up to the edge like that; you scared the shit out of me!!!

Also, if you haven't already, check out narrow neck trail next time you are up there.

Haha, yeah the cliff was bigger than I imagined. I actually started having visions when I got home of doing a "stoppie" (or endo) right on the edge and looking down the cliff only to go too far and go over the bars. It was giving me some kind of panic attack in the safety of my home. So weird! Its a cool spot though. Have you ridden much of the single trail I found?
@advanturest3 жыл бұрын
@@BikesnLikes Actual me and Josh have been planning to ride narrow neck for a while now. we will probably do it in a few weeks. I wish I had of done it before the fires though.

@@advanturest i've ridden some of the single trail and it was exactly how you experienced it. Where the hell am i and this just keeps going down to i don't know where. Only difference is i was on my ebike so riding back up was easy.
@BikesnLikes3 жыл бұрын
@@advanturest let me know when you and josh are doing it. Be keen to join. Haven't been since the fires. Lisa and i did a ride about a month ago with the intention of doing narrow neck at the end but we bailed as it was raining and forecast to storm a bit later.

Hi, im just wondering is this far from the highway plz.
@advanturest3 жыл бұрын
Car park is about 1km off the highway just near Blackheath. Its Ridgewell Road. The trail is then roughly another 5km until the lookout and Hanging Rock.
