Hi PawPaw, I have been watching that Appalachian Channel as well. I just love the song that someone wrote about Hurricane Helene, but I'm sure they wish she had never come. I wanted to tell you to get at least one good grass stain on those plaid pants before you send them to Ronnie 😂😂. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow. I have been cooking all day. My turkey is in the brine. My pumpkin praline cake is in the fridge as is my dressing and sweet potatoes, and my pecan pie tarts are ready to go. I feel so bad for the people in the paths of Helene and Milton. I will be sure to be thankful tomorrow. Helene missed us by about 30 miles to the east.

Hi there Secret Boyfriend! LOL. My husband and I will celebrate together here in our cozy home. No family close by but it's okay! I still cook a small turkey breast and all the sides just for us and it is very nice. I will probably read a passage from the Bible regarding giving thanks. We always called baloney round steak, and hot dogs were tube steak. The only baloney or hot dogs I like are Koegles. I believe they are a Michigan thing. Best I have ever eaten. I lived in Tennessee for a while, and you couldn’t get them there, although Koegle’s would have a truck visit different states and you could get them then.
