When I lived in New Zealand, deep-fried Mars Bars and Snickers bars were available in every fish n chip shop - so good! I really miss them so will definitely try them when I go to Ballarat!

Awesome recommendations of lesser-known things to visit in Ballarat guys! Saw your insta stories covering Ballarat the other day, and other influencers covering it too from the invitation. Ballarat looks pretty cool now haha. We only thought there is only Sovereign Hill and that castle to visit, now we know there are many cool places to visit too. The brunch food you guys had look incredible. Victoria is really the place to get the best brunch, isn't it! 😋

Yessss 100% Ballarat has some really good food which took us by surprise! You guys need to head up there just for a foodie trip haha. There are so many other things to do there other than Sovereign Hill and Kryal Castle (both of which are really fun) but we've done them all in the past so it was nice to see another side of Ballarat :D

A lot better than Melb brunch places?? wow we should try!!! The last time we went to Ballarat was over 10yrs ago, we should explore again one day, that adventure playground is so cool, and yeah we need that family accommodation, the size though we could bring other families too hahaha, great share guys!

I drove an international cyclist & chef around Ballarat after one of the big Comps they have around Buninyong and he rates Ballarat food way above Melbourne's, not in the least because so much of it is locally sourced and that Ballarat has always had an International population that likes to perfect their old 'Home Foods'. Plus since we got a Govt Hub built here all those Govt Worker Big City Foodies demanded even more of everything.

Buninyong has too many stairs hahahaha but wow look at those views. You caught a fish! wooohoooo and then you can eat it? how much fresher can you get? Yes to fish and chips, always always always!! That is indeed a luxury place! The kids are so happy to be there! Yay! Pizza looks so good How are all these things underrated?? Thanks guys for highlighting them all! We would fly there if we could

The name Buninyong - I thought it's Korea for a while. Love the view! You guys have such lovely brunch places in Australia. Fishing!! Puri and I would love this spot! Kangaroo!!! So so cuteeeee~~~~ Not a fan of the reptiles though haha! "Diabetes in a batter" 🤣 That's a nice apartment! Awwwh man those pizzas!!
@HangryByNature3 жыл бұрын
Omg I never thought about it but now that you mentioned it.. it does have a Korean ring to it haha. I think it's more of an indigenous word.
@RestrictedFoodie2 жыл бұрын
The word Buninyong comes from traditional land owners. Its a reference to the shape of the mountain. It means "man lying on his back with his knees raised" - @hangrybynature Thank you for showcasing my town. :)
