I'm British and we just don't fully appreciate how blessed we are to have the NHS system. I currently live in France and it was SO weird the first time l went into the doctor's room and there was a card reader on the desk! I wish Roo so much happiness, l think if she set up a just giving page lots of people would want to help someone who clearly needs help and is actively trying to pay her way. Thank you, Hope, great video and actually the disappointment l felt at first when l saw all the items had sold was immediately replaced with thinking how fantastic for the lucky buyers. I'm chronically ill as well, and knowing that I'm always just one bad flare away from a similar situation as Rue is a constant stressor in my life. A lot of us disabled or sick folks are in that position every day, day in and day out. I love your energy, I love your kindness, (and I don't know your financial situation, of course) but I really feel like this is an opportunity for you to make an insane difference in a sick woman's life. Maybe you could give her the profits from this video minus your cost, or even do a fundraiser for her (if she's comfortable). Shouting out her insta AND putting the link in your description was a great move and I totally see that, but idk, this video just makes me so incredibly sad. I'm pretty sure that Hope didn't know that she was going to get so much stuff because when she opens the makeup drawer she says she didn't expect her to send it. Also, we don't know how long she had been trying to sell this stuff. If she had been trying for a long time she wouldn't mind getting rid of that stuff so quickly. Also most of the stuff can be used which means it's not worth as much as the retail price. Keep in mind these factors before commenting. Considering the fact that the shoes were different sizes and the clothes as well, they might be gifts someone gifted her and weren't her size and things she didn't like anymore. I'm pretty sure she didn't sell her near and dear things to Hope.

This doesn’t sit super well with me… it’s a nice gesture on the surface, but Hope recognizes herself that these items are worth way more than she paid for them and she’s probably back what she paid if not more from the KZbin video. So at the end of the day she’s just bought (at a low price) the belongings of a person who is desperate for cash because of our garbage healthcare system, and then benefitted off it by getting content and stuff for a giveaway.
