Not that others don’t deserve it, but Hangyul really really really has the right to a spot. He is SUCH an amazing dancer, a supportive teammate from what we can see of him, and he’s got such a positive outlook despite his struggles. I was upset he didn’t make it into UNB on The Unit but I guess he was meant to debut in X1 on PDX101 instead so I’m so so so happy for him and so proud of him

well, it wasn't a surprise for me that hangyul and seungyeon are besties but I totally did not expect that kind of emotional reaction from seongwoo! he was so happy for hangyul he was literally shaking! no matter the fact that hangyul doesn't even have that many interactions with seongwoo (on camera at least). seongwoo must've quietly been cheering on hangyul...looking forward to their friendship development from now on!

You are definitely me. I also watched produce because og Hangyul because I really like him in The Unit. (Also, i watched because of Seunyoun and Victon members as well). I was praying that Hangyul would make it to the final line up. I wasn't really expecting that much when the final ep came, but then he made it. And i think that what makes it special. He's the kind of trainee whom everyone roots for but did not really expect something because of previous rankings. Like he really never made it to the final line up until the last ep. *I just wanna say what my thought was which it really made so proud for him and cry because of happiness.. this is gonna be long but here it is..* When i knew hangyul was gonna join pdx101 i was so happy and looking forward to everything about him (especially knowing his talent/s also the fact that he can improve) because i believed in hangyul that he can do it, he can show people what he is capable of, that he can be appreciated and recognized. Although I was kinda sad when he got a C at first and ranked down to D but i know he still has a chance to prove his talent/s and i said to myself "just wait.. hangyul will rise" then there he rose after that. 😍 Thinking how he climed up easily from ep to ep and shockingly was just superb! 👏👏👏 Honestly i was expecting and hoping also praying for him that he will be on the final 11, like in whatever rank in final 11 i just pray for him to debut with them & there an answered prayer which i am so thankful of. I'm thankful and greatful for those who voted for hangyul and supported him. He does really deserve it. I was emotional and cried so much and got relieved at the same time when his name was called as one of the final members. 😭💕 Now, i will still pray for their success, happiness, family, friendship, their safety and health & that nothing bad happens to them althrough out their career as X1 or just as themselves. I watched the finals with my friends and because of the long waiting between the announcement of the winners my friends slept. During the whole live I was praying for Hangyul to have screentimes, to be the center of Boyness and to win but I almost gave up when they announced the 8th member.
