Something about the footage quality is very calm and soothing. Plus a lot of talk shows were very low key back then ; not a bunch of colors blasting out at you in 1080p like rn.

This interview make me feel so good cause is obvious he is having a good time , he smile , talk in a free way , his body language tell you how happy he is at that moment , so all the racist comment were gone at that moment , he was a very good example of natural talent and perseverance, rip great man

Hank seemed like he was a great guy with a great sense of humor. Didn't take himself too seriously! As a player, he was a blue collar guy. He punched in, worked has az off, punched out and did it again the next day for years! That resulted in 755 HR's! No matter what profession, he proved if you just work your az off everyday, you will be respected and maybe even adored for your efforts after you have a body of work! RIP Hank.🙏✝

Henry had to be elated when it was finally over, humble guys don't like the media attention. Hank just wanted to get back to playing ball.

Welllll Pete was a fantastic hitter. One of the best. But Hank was clearly a notch above that. The Hammer might be the best ever. RIP Henry.

The great thing about that was, of all the great players who was playing at that time, it was Pete that they wanted to compare with. That says a lot about Pete Rose

I wonder who the 9 writers were that didn’t vote for Aaron. Also what their justification was for not voting for Aaron
@franzschubertv287429 күн бұрын
They wanted to vote for someone else so that the other player would not be dropped from future ballots. Everyone knew Aaron would get in. This isn’t a hard thing to understand.

If you really understand the context of this interview and what was going on (which I don't fully) then this will blow your mind. Hank seems to be cocky and charismatic bus also funny and soft.
