Meet Hank the Heart, and learn about a rare condition called pulmonary hypertension, or PH. When you have PH, the blood vessels in your lungs become constricted, making the right side of the heart work harder to pump blood. The Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s is a world-renowned pediatric cardiology and cardiothoracic surgical program with multiple subspecialties, including providers specializing in Pulmonary Hypertension. The Pulmonary Hypertension Program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is a Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) Accredited Pediatric Center of Comprehensive Care. The clinical and research pioneers at Cincinnati Children’s are committed to changing the outcome for children with PH and improving a child’s understanding through the power of digital media created through Cincinnati Children’s Media Lab.
