Love seeing Hank, late 70s and 80s nobody was better!

Hank got pissed in the interview because of being asked why he decided to make an album since he hadn’t made one was 2016. He was ready to go after that. Hank is a legend and he don’t have to nothing unless he WANTS to. That’s the point the man try’s to make.

ha thanks for the history... he was a good sport though and hung around for a few questions.

Seemed like a pretty reasonable question. Hard to understand why he got so angry about it.

@@MrPernell27 Hank knows his audience, and Bobby Bones isn't it. 😂 At least that's my best guess. Not only did Bobby mistake a Hank Sr. classic, "There's A Tear In My Beer", as being a Hank Jr. original, but he also admitted to never attending one of Hank's concerts, despite having many opportunities to. He also asked a pretty moronic question when asking if he still performed "All My Rowdy Friends (Are Coming Over Tonight)" in concert, which is arguably one of Jr.'s most recognizable songs due to its association with Monday Night Football. OF COURSE he still plays it live. Hank immediately tried to get up and leave after that. It would be like asking Lynyrd Skynyrd if they still play "Free Bird" in concert, or "Sharp Dressed Men" with ZZ Top.

Instrumentally, this blues band is killer! Real down home dirty blues like 1950s and 1960s. I just wish people listened to blues still. Other people in comments cutting this down have no clue that any music exists except for the damn radio. Shameful.

A man clearly driven to avoid (run) from What causes him anxieties. Ie. This interview. Hank jr is probably the greatest guy you could ever have as a friend. He seems to be terrified by some religiously superstitious BS. He also appears to be struggling with his own false persecution of what others think of him. No surprise he responds in ways that come off as a rude and self centered ingrate. Love his early creative country influence

Tracy do have to agree with you! Have been fan of hank from 1969 but his ego the last 20 years have gotten more then I can bare! Hate watching these interviews anymore. He can play and sing very well when he wants to and other times like on this one can really garbage up a song very bad.
