I love this song it brings tears to my eyes to hear him talk about his daddy but that's a lot of love and memories and he has a god-given talent

All this awesome talent and people still try to kick him in the teeth he has forgotten more about music than 75% that are playing today hands down

I found this like two days ago and listened to it like 35 times already. Nothing like AUTHENTIC music that you can tell someone cares a lot about.

So cool, just saw a short about Senior's possible racism, and Tee Tot came up. Loved this song! Kids don't know racism. It's taught.

Hank Sr was not racist

@concertjunkie8592 He wasn't, when his kid idol was Tee Tot that inspired him to play forever more. Sad, Tee Tot died young, a black teen, it looks like. I researched it, when supposedly someone said Hank Senior had a dispute with black orderlies after a car accident. It was all a hoax, and the black women at the hospital verified what was said did not happen.

Hank, when he wants to can seriously be one of the greatest performers ever. He’s so talented. Sometimes he goes thru the motions and phones it in. But when he’s dialed, he’s the best.

That sure was a major crossroads in music when Rufus Payne schooled Hank Williams to play and sing. It should be taught in every music college class.

Curtis Lowe was a great song but he was not a real person, it was just a song. Rufus Was a real person that taught Hank sr how to sing and play the blues

How does modern country fall so far away from its roots. What is considered country today may very well be the worst gener of music. All modern mainstream music is really bad but country is a whole new level of bad.
