Hank Jr.'s music was a lifestyle for those of us who grew up listen to him. We would pull up to the creek, drop the tailgates, go fishing, do some swimming, and drink beer with Hank Jr. blaring out of the speakers. Those were the days!

@@JBBooks-qv2kp Yes. I used to go to a friend's house out in the country for a cookout every Saturday. We always had classic country blasting from the radio and plenty of cold beer in the cooler! Out back there was a stream where we fished. Sometimes we would ride horses or atvs out there. Great times. I still enjoy classic country music and country living.

Back when leaving in the country meant most of your friends where farm boys, or actually leaved out in the country not like now days where you live in a damn subdivision and go play on grandpas farm you inherited without a cow or farm machinery on the place, and you've never done a days work on that land. Or you wear all the right clothes and never get a speck of mud on your truck. LoL

This is when Hank was at his best period: 1978 -1984. He was and is still great, but I love this true Outlaw era. So many of the best Country singers today really cut their teeth on this: Jamey Johnson, Sturgill, Tyler Childers, and the new arrival Zach Bryan. They bring their own slant on it, but they have that spirit, which I am thankful for. A few years ago, I only had Hank III, so seeing an underground explosion has been awesome.
