One of the reasons that I like cats, they're both cuddly and also somewhat independent. You usually don't have to worry quite as much as with some dogs if you go away for the day

Omg i'm basically in the exact same situation atm. our cat has four kittens and we don't know what we should do with them. i'm thinking about taking two with me halfway across the country, but i don't know if i am ready for that commitment yet. i mean they are still very very little and i still have about two to three months to decide (if they all survive). but it's still very difficult.
